The international retail association E-Square is restructuring its top management: On January 1, 2025, Paul Tyson, after 20 years managing international buying groups, will move from the E-Square Managing Board and will join E-Square’s Advisory Board.
We are pleased to announce that Jörn Gellermann, will join E-Square’s Managing Board. Jörn will work side-by-side with Eric Millar in the management of E-Square and will have a primary focus on E-Square’s operational activities, membership, and network development.
Founded in 2012, E-Square has quickly become one of the world's leading networks for consumer and household electronics. Currently, the trade association has 18 National Retail companies in 13 countries serving a total of around 10,000 affiliated stores. These include brick-and-mortar specialist retailers, large-scale stores, pure online retailers and omnichannel providers. At E-Square, the retailer partners benefit from comprehensive insights into different markets and retail formats through intensive cooperation. The focus is on regular exchange and networking to build sustainably successful partnerships with international supplier partners.
Paul Tyson and Jörn Gellermann were both part of the founding team members of E-Square. Over the past twelve years, Paul Tyson has served as Managing Director to expand the network and facilitate effective exchange between member companies and with industry. In his new role as a member of the Advisory Board, he will continue to provide his support to E-Square. "I would like to thank Paul for the many years of good cooperation, and I am very pleased that he will continue to support us in the future with his experience and knowledge," says Eric Millar, Managing Director of E-Square.
Jörn joins E-Square from ElectronicPartner in Austria. Prior to working for EP Austria, he held many roles within the EP organisation. As one of the original team members when E-Square was formed, and having served on the E-Square Advisory Board for the past 5 years, Jörn has been instrumental in the development of the E-Square strategy, has complete knowledge about the E-Square members and supplier, and will bring his enthusiasm and passion to continue E-Square’s success in the future.
"We have achieved a lot since E-Square was founded and have grown into an extensive network. In the future, I would like to work to make us even more visible and innovative to be attractive to new partners," Jörn commented.
“His years of retail and industry experience will be invaluable to the E-Square team, the E-Square Members, and our International Suppliers. I look forward to working side-by-side with Jörn, as he moves from the E-Square Advisory Board to the E-Square Management.” says Eric Millar.
