On Sunday 9th and Monday 10th April, ElectronicPartner organized its fair in the Netherlands for the fourteenth time. The theme was 'Colorful & Connect' and the location the Central Studios in Utrecht. The event venue is located in the heart of The Netherlands. The location is multifunctional and has 3 connecting halls with a total area of 2.200 m².
Over 40 industry partners took part in the Spring Fair and showed their novelties. The exhibition was visited by approximately 300 members (550 guests).
This theme was all about 'the unique features (colors) of the EP:Entrepreneurs and the expression of an uniform appearance’, said Patrick van Tent, Director of Purchasing / Marketing. Van Tent: "With our self-employed entrepreneurs, each ‘unique’ and with a unique entrepreneurial view, we are a colorful organization. We have to work hard to stay that way. It's all about balance between uniformity and local entrepreneurship.’’ Uniformity was visualized by a realistic scale model (scale 1:20) of our EP:Stores in accordance with our EP:Shopconcept.
‘Connect’ stands for connection or being connected. Evert C. Meeuwissen: "We asked our entrepreneurs: Are you still connected? Connected to the consumer? To the market? To smart home? And so on. Some of our entrepreneurs are not connected and we offer them tools to be reconnected. During this fair, we make the right connection together. Van Tent: ‘Connect also has to do with commitment. We don’t want to be a hard-franchise organization, but it’s all about real commitment. In other words ‘ambassadors.’
As for the tools there were enough of them in Utrecht. Like the Virtual Shelf and the updated website, but also, Smart Home and the new Oven Concept. About the Virtual Shelf Van Tent said: 'This is our online catalog. It is a great tool for our ‘local hero’ to make the right choice with consumers. About the Oven Concept: "Together with the industry, we provide the entrepreneur a presentation wall with built-in furnaces, which enables him to offer a complete concept for a minimal investment.
Except for networking and doing business there also was plenty of time for relaxation: various food trucks provided good food and drinks, at the entrance members could prove their luck at the Wheel of Fortune and there was a Gift Shop where the members could exchange there saved points for beautiful gifts.
